In approximately June of this year I received one of your coupons and it gave me the idea that solar for my home was closer to a reality. I spoke with Gina Drago and she quickly put a package together and sent it to me. Her attention to detail and quick responses to my questions was a refreshing change to many bad experiences of poor customer service over the years with various contractors. I contacted other solar installers and received many quotes. Green street’s pricing was fair and competitive. To be honest not the cheapest but not the most expensive. I really didn’t know what to do! Gina provided me with several local installs and after visiting three of these I knew who I wanted. The previous customers of Green Street that I spoke with couldn’t hide their excitement as they spoke of the great experience they had with Green Street and the outstanding performance of their arrays. What I saw and heard made it very clear to me who I wanted. When Gina and Rusty came to the house, they were just a joy to meet and speak with. Rusty was the first installer to actual get on the roof and take accurate measurements . He was able to tell me what he could do rather than what he thought he could do. Their visit sealed the deal! I was very excited when I was advised by Rusty that he could install sooner than scheduled!! Rusty and RJ arrived on time and ready to work. They had the roof array and inverters installed in no time. Rusty made sure to seek my input on where I wanted certain things and took great care in doing the job neat and professional. I am a little bit of a perfectionist on things and even I couldn’t complain! The workmanship of Rusty and RJ was excellent. The total install was less than a week and that was with the weekend in the middle. The instant Rusty turned on my array the meter went backwards. To date I have generated approx 1000kwh and these are the bad months. I cannot begin to express my pleasure with this whole experience and I look forward to years of solar joy! "Hi Green Street Solar, I just wanted to give you an update on the performance of our solar array, (Denton, MD) now that it has been in operation for the past two years.  I have gone back to look at the monthly output from the system between July 21, 2010 to July 21, 2011 and have determined that the system had produced  8,552 Kilowatts over that one year period, saving us and average of $1,282.80 per year. According to the Public Service Commission paperwork the system was estimated to produce 7,705 kilowatts.  Since the installation of the system it has actually saved us $2,542 on our energy bills and has reduced CO2 emissions by 23,725 lbs. We have been pleased with the installation and operation, and hope that all of you at  Green Street Solar are prospering." *Cheers Tom
